"Timo", an interior and lighting design
collection inspired by the colors and scents of Puglia, native land of the
designer, Michelangelo Olivieri. Elegant and sober nuances, applied
to a pure and handcrafted design. Stools, chairs, armchairs, chaise lounges and
a lamp with a clean, elegant and functional style. Minimal shapes and care for every
single detail blend together in a creative mix that puts in contrast the bright
and dark, the cold and the hot, the light and the strong. Essential materials
like solid wood and enameled metal, are joined in a collection that symbolizes
the everyone’s roots that evolve and mature adapting to daily life, in a
versatile and contemporary design.

“This collection has been in my head
for a very long time, since I was based in Venice. Every time I used to come in
Puglia, I felt the physical need to refuge on the Murgia Hills to breathe a
single atmosphere, unique in the world. I simply transferred on paper
everything that my eyes caught, along with the sensations that these zen
wastelands make me feel: simplicity and inner balance, two key elements that we
find in the “Timo” collection. Each piece is in fact in a constant balance:
from the lamp with a springy structure that always returns to its original
position, to the chairs: two legs on which is placed a metal plate, put on a
precise point that allows the maximum flexibility and prevents the collapse of
the material" says Michelangelo Olivieri.
