Art and Charity with Designer Christmas Tree 2012
This
year was Japan the guest of honour of the Designer Christmas Tree,
the big charity Christmas Event created by the association ‘Les
Sapins de Noël des créateurs" in Paris. The "trees"
realized by famous designers, couturiers and architects could be
admired by the general public at the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild
from 4 to 10 of December.
Also
for 2012 World famous personalities used their talent to create
Christmas trees that will be auctioned in order to raise money which
will be donated this year to the AVEC association (Association for
life - Hope against cancer) of Professor David Khayat.
The
designers who took part at this event: Ali et India Mahdavi, Chantal
Thomass, Dior, Diane von Furstenberg, Elie Saab, Maison Lesage,
Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Maison Martin
Margiela, Maxime Simoens, Mathilde de L’Ecotais, Olivia Putman,
Pierre Hermé, Sonia Ryliel, Stella Mc Cartney…
